Philip Wrona provides support for the Due Process Investigations Team. He manages all aspects of the investigation process, work with various stakeholder to implement corrective action and process changes and participate in compliance monitoring activities.

He plays a key role in conducting complex investigations and ensure that compliance concerns raised by employees, suppliers and other third-parties are promptly and thoroughly investigated and appropriately addressed.

Philip Wrona has been actively involved in the federal law enforcement and investigative field for over 39 years.

Prior to joining Due Process Investigations, Philip Wrona served in Afghanistan as a Senior Special Agent in the Investigations Directorate, Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). The Directorate’s mission is to prevent and detect waste, fraud, and abuse through criminal prosecution, civil actions, forfeitures and monetary recoveries. SIGAR’s Special Agents have statutory general criminal code authority and investigate crimes involving federal procurement fraud, contract fraud, theft, corruption, bribery of government employees and public officials, and a variety of civil matters pertaining to waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars.

Philip Wrona was embedded with the U.S. Army where he had oversight of 34 LEPs in Iraq. His team identified, investigated and suppressed complex and networked criminal enterprises. Developed and executed operational plan for large geographic area. Prioritized and monitored work, developed and coordinated security initiatives, connected activities to success metrics and created assessments for defense and civilian intelligence organizations.

Philip Wrona was a Supervisory Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Justice where he managed security, internal/external investigations and Homeland Security initiatives to prevent, respond and recover from terrorist activities. He coordinated initiatives for critical incident response between other government agencies and private sector and executed duties through interpretations of a broad range of laws, rules and regulations.
